I loved the location! It was sooo easy to walk to the main sights like the Alamo and Riverwalk! And the staff? Super friendly, kind, they made us feel welcome.
Not the cheapest place though, but still not ridiculous considering the location.

The hotel is perfectly situated near the Alamo and has a charming historic feel, which I loved. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, but the room felt a bit cramped, and there were cleanliness issues that needed addressing. Overall, a good experience despite these setbacks.

We had such an amazing time exploring the San Antonio Zoo, especially the new jaguar habitat in NEOTROPICA, which was beautifully designed! The highlight was the live music there that our kids absolutely loved, creating a festive vibe. The hotel’s breakfast was outstanding too, especially those carne asada tacos—they really hit the spot!
In my wife’s opinion, the bathroom layout could be better for families. A larger bathroom space would make things much easier when getting the kids ready, especially in the mornings.

I absolutely adored the vintage charm of the lobby, with its original wood floors and marble walls. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, perfectly accessible for seniors like myself wanting to explore nearby attractions at a leisurely pace.
More seating in the lobby would be nice.
